spiffing.

(my how conversations change through the course of time. its like chinese whispers!)
lol, abit like the chats on Facebook.... utterly random! lol
Bit late with a reply, but yes, Pro Strip in Notts did mine. They furnace stripped it & chemically stripped my wheels. Really happy with the service & the results were spot on. £150.00 the lot.
There is a powder coater 50yrds away who then powder coated it all.
...so the cost isn't really as high as you would think.

...Still, the biggest problem for someone like myself, is the cracking open of the car, and the dismantling of all the components from the chassis, and then having to store all these bits, clean them all up a bit and replace where necessary, deliver the chassis, and those suspension components where it is wished for those to be rejuvenated also, collect them all again, and then towards the end, remember how it all goes back together again!

...sounds simple enough.

Not really a practical exercise for someone living in an ordinary suburban neighbourhood with not a lot of space, or tools like engine lifting equipment etc, and of course, the knowledge, and beyond all, the guts to do it!
