Dear Sirs
I am pleased to inform you that the Silverstone Classic 2010 Car and Bike Club Display ticket office was opened on Monday 30 November 2009, 3 months earlier than for the 2008 and 2009 events!
If you are interested in your Club putting on a display at next year’s event and ensure that your Club members benefit from the early ticket booking benefits, please complete the attached ‘registration of interest’ form, return to us and then a members’ booking code will be issued to you.
At the 2009 Silverstone Classic, 80 Classic Car Clubs were represented providing a total of over 4,000 cars on display over the 3 days of the event. This was an increase of 13 clubs over that achieved in 2008. Overall space for car and bike club enthusiasts’ displays on the infield is limited and may, actually, be reduced for us in 2010 due to the track changes and developments being undertaken at the venue by Silverstone Circuits Limited over the next months in preparation for the Moto GP in June and, hopefully, the FI British GP in July. We may, therefore, need to control Classic Club support structures in their dedicated display area next year; the attached form will assist in the planning process in this regard.
Our earlier opening of the ticket office will mean that your club members have an increased opportunity to purchase their tickets at the reduced prices and take advantage of the BOGOF offer. The ticket prices include admission to all areas including that to the Friday and Saturday evening concerts, headline acts to be advised.
The 2010 Silverstone Classic will again feature a full programme of historic and classic racing covering the 1940s to the 1990s, air displays, Bonhams auction, fairground attractions, autojumble and retail mall and other track parades and demons.
We look forward to receiving back your Club’s display area registration form.
Best regards
Neil
