Hi all,

been offline for a few days.............

we have a daughter!!

Kezia Lucy, born 9.54am on Friday 9th October at Royal Derby Hospital, 7lb's 5oz's.

Had to stay in hospital until Sunday afternoon as I had to be rushed in due to complications, and she was delivered by forceps - I'll spare you all the gory details.......... lol

She's fine, Phill is besotted with her, and I'm very sore and getting used to having this little person and trying to interpret cries as meaning "i'm hungry" or "my nappy wants changing" or "give me some attention" lol

here we are, me out of theatre, and Kez about half an hour old

Wont be before long you'll be getting asked if your car keys can be borrowed for the weekend! lol!

She's certainly developing her own little personality already, and she's only 6 days old! lol

I'm still trying to work out what sleep is, but she only woke every 2-3 hours last night.....

Anyone got any matchsticks I can borrow?

BTW, I'm only catching up on here cos she's finally gone to sleep! lol :lol:

Will try and get to the NEC on the Sunday - she'll be 5 weeks old then!
