Chrispy and I heard from a chap a while ago whose father was quite a senior engineer at Dunmurry. To paraphrase, he said that in spite of being made redundant, his dad was still basically an honest man and handed back his company (DeLorean) car, even though many of his senior colleagues refused to give theirs back as DMC hadn't correctly honoured their redundancy package. I wonder how many of these cars are now in the hands of club members? Shock

Hi Mary,

Do you happen to have a copy of the auction catalogue in your car's history file? It would be really interesting to find out the VIN numbers of the other 4 RHD cars.

Best wishes,

Phil

lol - well dont forget Phil, there's still the option of the DOC-UK invading your mum's house
to get 12173 finished intime for Chirk next year - dont want you in the usual position of having
your car in several thousand small pieces at 2am on morning of an event! lol
Just to bring this thread up to date, SIJ 5996, Vin 522 was sold at auction in April 2011 and bought by Club Historian Chris P. Currenty being worked on.
