A little (big?) birdie told me its his birthday on the 9th too.....

lol, mine (and NickT's) on the 9th, and Phill's on the 5th, and I've got the week booked off
already as I need to look into the flights now to get a good price.
Having done Caley Hall 3yrs running, plus spent a lot of time round Norfolk over the last 10 years,
dont worry, I wont feel like I'm missing out by not going
Thanks for the offer of a beer tho, mebbe have a pint at the NEC in a couple of weeks?
I wouldnt say it was the sightseeing or Norfolk in particular, I think Caley Hall has a very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere, which is great for us all to turn up and catch up, plus the bar is always open!
The whole socialising thing is the main I think.

I hear what you say Alistair, and Caley Hall is a lovely location, but for me, I enjoy a
change of scenery now and again too

yep - of course. Can't remember who else is coming for the day! - I think Tyson(2?), Tracey(2?), Carl(2?), and now you(2) - possibly 8 people.
Staying (for 2 both nights, or more in some cases) we're at 18 people who are definates so far. Still plenty of room if anyone else is interested.
