Oh I see, I always thought that was done on the 83' cars. In anycase, it's probably not anything a bit of label remover couldn't sort out.

The badges are on all cars with flat bonnets. It will clean off if you find it offensive, but then its not original as the flat bonnets were suposed to be. A groved bonnet shouldn't have the badge though.

A grooved bonnet del is what I am after anyway.

FWIW .... the thin side stripe is still available as a OEM item.
