That's my main worry i think i will be the test pilot to see if its any good
If i do go for it have no fear you will all hear about it.
here are some reviews from the U.S
Apr 30, 2008 - Max Slaine from Charlotte, NC:
I olny give this model 3 stars because the first one I bought broke while I was in the past! I was back 5 years to play the lotto and the thing completely fried! I did win the lotto, but money doesn't buy happiness. I had to wait 5 long years to get back to present time. I just bought a new one and so far so good.
Feb 14, 2008 - TheGOO from Colorado:
I hooked this up to my minivan and decided to take the family out for a real live history lesson. The kids were watching Groundhog day in the back and somehow the circuits got crossed. Now it only takes me back to the same day, over and over again.
Jan 10, 2008 - Davy from the Navy from Plantersville:
Yes sir, my rigid inflatable military craft has been upgraded to 4 propulsion jets, so I can hit 88 as long as the water isn't too choppy. Usually, a bunch of chopped up mullet fish are left in my tracks...

Becareful Robert,
It looks to me (I have looked at this flux capacitor before) that it is only a 2D printed "internals" on a clear acrylic board with lit background in a Flux box. Which means it's only a photograph of the flux inside a flux box.
I would pay the extra for a proper replica from Bruce (which is 3D replica parts from inside out). But it really depends whether you want to spend the extra for a better one, or wouldn't mind having the 2nd best for a cheaper cost.
IMO, if you are gonna buy a flux capacitor, why not buy the one with some style!?
if this is the same one

then the strobe strips are a sort of wedge shaped plastic.
looks pretty good, but i reckon should be more £50 or so then would be a must for any D owner to answer that question at the petrol station!
Oh crap, if it's like the one in Steve's link (proper 3D internals), then I must buy a second one to put in my cupboard!
Is this 1:1 or the slightly smaller version!?
The only "Flux" i'd use is in the solder that fixes wires where scotchlocks once were

This is just so NickT  But I use solder flux on my D too, so no scotchlocks to scare you there

cant be nick he's dolphin friendly  TT
Well to hell with it, theres no going back in time now ( ), i've just orded my flux off play.com.
and for same resone i'am as giddy as a school girl.
watch this space for as soon as i turns up the pictures will be flying their way here for all the world to see!
Cant wait to see the pics. If its any good i'll be ordering one to pop in the back of the D
