Dear Chris,

I work on the quiz show Eggheads, broadcast everyday on BBC2. I have attached a press release in case you're not familiar with the programme.

We are always looking for fun and interesting teams, and I think it would be great to have a team from the UK De Lorean Owners Club on the show. I was wondering if you might be interested in getting a team together, or forwarding this information on to your members? Each team consists of five members plus one stand-by.

could be a laugh

Phill, Rich and me always used to do well at the pub quiz (especially as
we were playing for money ) - but our downfall would usually be sport,
"celebrities", and soap operas.

You'll have to go through my agent, i get so booked up these days what with my extensive TV history.

Some examples of my outstanding TV work

LookEast News - 1996 (Tallest Sunflower Competition Winner)
Watchdog Live -1998 (wrote in and ended up on the show)
Mechanoids - 2001 (I was periodically a robot geek)
Working Lunch - 2006 (Talked about Mortgage Set-Up Fees)
Working lunch - 2007 (Talked about mortgage exit fees)

The list goes on.....

Also winner of the Mersea Island Sand Castle competition in 1988 & 1989 although this received little (no) TV coverage.
There must have been an outbreak of war, that's the only reason why they wouldn't have televised such a momentous moment in sand castle competition history.

i could help out and be the sad one who knows about sport, soaps and celebrities. all those days of being bored and watching daytime tv could be useful

I was watching it the other day and I got all the History questions right
