 VIN # 16327 ~ BLM2Y ~ TheOriginalMrP Originally a New Jersey car for 18 years, VIN # 16327 was imported to the UK in 2001 by previous owner Chris Spratt, (DOC#4) and registered as FLE 371Y. I aquired the car from Chris in December 2006, and re-registered it as BLM2Y, or Blimey as it's been nicknamed. It currently stands with 2 former keepers, and has 30k on the odometer believed to be genuine.
Blimey is a 1983 5 speed Manual Transmission DMC-12 with a Grey interior, flat hood with a badge, and a Silver side stripe.
Work that was done to this car before my ownership was quite comprehensive, and includes remote central locking, adjustable suspension, lowered springs, uprated brakes, etc.
Since I have owned the car, besides routine servicing, I have changed a clutch, an otterstat switch, and that's it.......
I have purchased other items, such as a new head unit, SS coolant tank, new exhaust system, and items to cosmetically improve it's overall look. Most items can be viewed on the video's below.
Work left to do includes painting the facias, and getting the chassis galvanised eventually.
