Last year I met with one of your Club members at a car show and whilst chatting he gave me your contact details.
 
I am writing to inquire as to whether your Club would be interested in attending our car show  this year which is being held on the 2nd of June.  The show is attended by owners of both British and European historic vehicles with an emphasis on Classic American ones.
 
There will also be refreshments available as well as auto jumble, traders and live music and children's entertainment.
 
This will be the  Swansea American Auto Club's  third annual show  which is being held at the Riverside Caravan Park, just  off junction 45 of the  M4, Ynysforgan Farm, Morriston, Swansea, SA6 6QL. ( Please see attached flier).  
 
The show was very well attended last year by many different car clubs including  the American Auto Club UK; the Corvette Club UK; several Ford Clubs as well as Military Vehicles and American Police Vehicles.

The venue is located just off the M54 motorway, just a few miles to the west of Birmingham, making it easily accessible located in the centre of the country. The International Centre is a modern building with great facilities and over 100,000 sq.ft of heated exhibition space with car parks adjacent. There are 3 large on-site hotels – just a stepping-stone away from the halls & a further 6 hotels within easy reach of the Centre, plus loads of bars & places to eat, so why not make a weekend of it!

The DMC had a good time, attracting people even though it was parked up away in a far corner-still amazes me when folk say they've never seen one in the steel before-the mint red Metro I was parked next to was probably rarer than the DeLorean!
A good day, great talking to people, dispelling a few myths and bracing myself for the "Where's the Flux Capacitor,then?"

The Big Welsh Classic Car Show takes place on Sunday 20th of September 2015 at Margam Country Park between 10am – 4pm and we are hoping that we will have 500 classic vehicles displayed. There will also be entertainment, music and an arena parade throughout the day.

I was wondering if you would mind letting your members know about the event to see if anyone would like to attend and exhibit their vehicle? If you book before the 1st of July 2015, then you can take advantage of the early bird booking. Anyone who is interested can register online at www.beatingbloodcancers.org.uk/classiccars or over the phone by calling 020 7504 2215. Alternatively if they would prefer a paper registration form then I’ve attached one that can be printed off and returned to the address on the bottom.

If you wouldn’t mind including it on your events page or in your newsletter – I’d greatly appreciate it.
