My name is Simon Ansell, from the Picnic committee of the, Letchworth Garden City Classic And Vintage Car Club.  We are now organising this year's picnic, and are inviting local car clubs to come and join  us. The event is a car show that usually attracts 400/500 classic vehicles, ranging from veterans to modern classics.  There are also bands, choirs, bars, cafes and stalls.  The event is on Saturday June 8th at Halls Green, near Weston SG4 7DP.  Gates open at 11:00, entry is £5.00 for cars £2.00 for motorbikes/pedestrians We would very much like to invite members of the Delorean Owners Club to come along and join us for this very enjoyable event.  We can arrange club parking areas, if members would like to stay together.

Huge thanks to Danny Hopkins - Editor of Practical Classics - for his continued support and unique and informative parade commentary and Prize Giving. At the Show Danny will choose a vehicle to feature in Practical Classics.

A great day out with something for all the family: vehicle parades, prizes, stalls, games, food, beer, plants, live music,  C13th Church displays - learn about burials connected to 10 Downing Street!
Marquees if wet, shade under trees if too hot.

Now in its tenth year, this Show has become a highlight in the regional summer calendar yet has retained its quaint charm with a growing loyal following; 160+ display vehicles. All monies raised will help our village to maintain its Village Hall and restore our beautiful mediaeval church which sits alongside the show field and will form part of the day’s programme.

If you have never been before, Croydon is a small village set on a hill in beautiful South Cambridgeshire countryside. The village lies about 7 miles north of Royston on the A1198 and about 1 mile west of Arrington and Wimpole Park. The Postcode for the Show is SG8 0DX

Show car arrivals from 10.30 a.m. and before noon, please, and no need to stay at home for breakfast as once again bacon butties & tea/coffee will be available to purchase near the registration desk.

Though we have always managed to squeeze everyone in on the day, it would greatly assist our planning to know of your attendance in advance. Replies using one of the methods indicated below would be most gratefully received.

This year we want it to be bigger and better than ever before. We are holding the event on Saturday 10 September at the Old Dagenham Park and wanted to get it early in your diaries.
 
The Steam & Cider Fair is a great way to promote your club as the event attracts around 7,000 people with many car enthusiasts.

As before, there is a small entrance fee of £5 but all profit goes to charity so we hope you will find this acceptable.  For your £5 you, and your passenger, get entrance to the Show and an allocated parking spot.

We intend holding the mid-morning and mid-afternoon vehicle parade again this year with a commentary.  If you could let the commentator have any brief interesting facts about your vehicle (owned by someone famous, only one of 6 made, 0 to 60 in 4 seconds, etc) it would help to make the commentary more interesting.

This show has become a highlight in the regional summer calendar and we are pleased to announce its return for 2018. It has retained its quaint charm and boasts a loyal following and once again all monies raised will help our small village maintain its Village Hall and restore our beautiful mediaeval church of All Saints which sits alongside the show field and will form part of the day’s programme.It is held in a lovely setting and with lots of food, stalls, drinks, games, plants and arena activities there will be lots to do for the whole family, including vehicle parades, commentary, judging and prizes.

For those who don't already know, Croydon is a small village set on a hill in beautiful South Cambridgeshire countryside. The village lies about 7 miles north of Royston on the A1198 and about 1 mile west of Arrington.
And you won't even miss Wimbledon as you can see it in the TV Marquee
Note Show Cars & Drivers enter FREE. Show car arrivals from 10.30 a.m. and before noon, please. No need to stay at home for breakfast as once again bacon butties & tea/coffee will be available near the signing in desk.

This year there are 14 different classes for cars of all ages and styles judged by a knowledgeable panel of highly respected collector car aficionados.
Once again, the overall Best of Show winner will be invited to display their car in the Rotunda at the Royal Automobile Club in Pall Mall for the following week…this is a very exclusive invitation and a great honour for the winning car. There is no entry fee for the concours itself and all entrants receive two VIP passes and will be our guests for the day with refreshments provided throughout the event.

I am the Chair of a small village pre school in Kent. We are holding a charity fund raising event on the 3rd Sept. We have an outdoor cinema with an expected audience of circa 500 people, we will be showing "BACK TO THE FUTURE"

It would be just amazing if any of your members could attend and simply park there fabulous cars up and let some really excited children and I am sure adults see hen in the flesh.. we don't have funds to pay them but I am sure we could give them food and drink and if needed a bit of petrol money!! But all proceeds are for building a new school! 

If you think this is at all possible and if if your local members might be interested in helping please let me know.

Any help would be gratefully appreciate.
