Last year we raised more than £40,000 across the weekend for our charities and provided entertainment for thousands of visitors across the south west and beyond, and we hope this year you can join us.

Each exhibitor will receive entry for two people, as well as a free programme. All proceeds from the festival go to charity, and though there is no entry fee for exhibitors donations are much appreciated.
 
There is free camping available on Friday and Saturday night next to the site, with toilet and shower facilities. You will also have the opportunity to parade your vehicle around the main arena with our announcer's commentary if you would like, on either or both days. We will not be using paper parade info sheets this year, instead please fill in the details about your vehicle in the description field on the registration form.

Thanks for taking my call earlier and herewith the details of a car showing event on our Airfield near Bidford on Avon, in May (29th) - so that you could include this in a few of your upcoming weekly newsletters to your Members?
 
The enclosures contain a flyer and some pictures from past events, with more detail.  If the weather is good, it can be popular and  some 1-2000 members of the public have attended such days in the past.  We are in the process of arranging for a Spitfire and Hurricane of the BBMF to make a flypast soon after lunchtime, and the site has good facilities etc and grass parking for the car display.
 
This is a charity event – so whilst we are not charging for entry, we are expecting everyone attending to make some kind of donation.  Because we only have space for ~100 Classic/vintage cars (and for the sake of variety), we are also limiting each Vintage or Classic type to 5-10 parking spaces (on a first come, first served basis), and those coming will need to send me the registration number of their car before the event – upon which I will email back an entry disc by return.  Arrival before 9:30am on the day to park up is essential please - to avoid/mitigate congestion risk on the local road(s).  Because of the terms of our insurance, the event will close at 5pm that evening.
 
If this is of interest to a Member, I’d need direct email contact from all interested individual parties by the 1st of May 2022 - in order to allow the time to process the responses and issue them with an entry ‘disc’ by return.

I am involved in organising the Royal Fowey (Cornwall) Regatta Classic car event for 2022. it is due to be held on the 17th August. we held the first show last year which was very well received and attended. We expect around 200 cars to attend, with a parade through the town at the finish of the show. Fowey is situated on the South Cornish coast around 7 miles from St Austell.

I talked to a couple of your members at the NEC classic car show in  November and they thought that some of your members may be interested in joining the show.

Are you able to help me notify your member's about this event please?

I am sending this email to see if your club would be interested in attending the Pageant of Transport car show in Weston-super-Mare in 2022 which sometimes is one of the biggest events to start of the year. 
The event is held annually over Easter weekend and is situated on the beach lawns in Weston-super-Mare right next to the seafront. The event is making its return on the 16th-17th April 2022 after being cancelled for the last two years due to Covid and for its return we want to make it as big of an event as possible. Traditionally it has been a show for classic cars but as its Pageant of Transport we would like to see a whole variety of transport options. Cars, motorbikes, tractors, lorries, buses & military vehicles. Anything of interest is certainly welcome. 
It is a charity event where all proceeds raised are provided to the Weston-super-Mare Sea Cadets. The Sea cadets are an organisation to design to help children learn and develop new skills both on and off the water, based on the traditions and customs which are used in the Royal Navy. Many cadets achieve qualifications which are both national and internationally recognised through a whole host of activities such as but not limited to sailing, kayaking, powerboating, mountain biking, rock climbing, flying and many, many more. 
If this would be an event that you club may be interested in attending then let me know and I will add you to the emailing list send updates on the upcoming event. 
Also if anybody is interested in learning anything more about the sea cadets let me know and I can get one of the staff members to provide you with more information.

BRISTOL CLASSIC CAR SHOW SET TO BE A GRAND TOUR FOR ALL THE FAMILY!
WITH a mighty 38 years under its belt, the Footman James Bristol Classic Car Show returns to the Royal Bath & West Showground on June 16 and 17 for a fantastic weekend extravaganza.
To celebrate the summer, mark Father’s Day on the Sunday and create a day out for all the family, organisers are hosting the first-ever mini funfair to run alongside the already well-established classic car show. The showground also incorporates the Bath & West miniature railway, which will be running all weekend, entertaining families in exchange for donations towards the upkeep of the volunteer-run project.
This year’s show brings a change to the famous classic car park. Now even closer to the visitor entrance, this fantastic area of the show will feature hundreds of incredible vehicles from all eras, marques, tastes and stages of restoration. From pristine recent finishers that have just rolled out of the garage for the first time, through to those that are just about to embark on their restoration journey, there’s sure to be something that appeals to everyone.
Event organiser Vicky Bean said:
“As a special thank you from us, we’re offering all classic car park drivers half-price entry to the show. We fully recognise that the classic cars that turn up on the day are an important part of the show, and we’re looking forward to seeing hundreds of beautiful vehicles rolling through the gates to wow the crowds!”
As always, show organisers are presenting multiple awards throughout the weekend. Awards will be handed out by official judges on both Saturday and Sunday for a wide range of categories, including a return of the prestigious Classic American Car of the Year heat, judged by magazine editor Ben Klemenzson. The chosen car will feature on the Classic American magazine stand at the NEC Classic Motor Show in November this year, admired by thousands of visitors and with a potential to be crowned the overall winner.
The show will also feature the traditional and much-anticipated displays from classic car clubs, who will be going head to head to compete for cash prizes up for grabs for the first, second and third best stand of the weekend. Members of the Yeovil Classic Car Club will be hosting the return of the popular firing-up area outside, giving visitors chance to enjoy the sounds and smells of classic car nostalgia.

BRISTOL CLASSIC CAR SHOW SET TO BE A GRAND TOUR FOR ALL THE FAMILY!
WITH a mighty 38 years under its belt, the Footman James Bristol Classic Car Show returns to the Royal Bath & West Showground on June 16 and 17 for a fantastic weekend extravaganza.
To celebrate the summer, mark Father’s Day on the Sunday and create a day out for all the family, organisers are hosting the first-ever mini funfair to run alongside the already well-established classic car show. The showground also incorporates the Bath & West miniature railway, which will be running all weekend, entertaining families in exchange for donations towards the upkeep of the volunteer-run project.
This year’s show brings a change to the famous classic car park. Now even closer to the visitor entrance, this fantastic area of the show will feature hundreds of incredible vehicles from all eras, marques, tastes and stages of restoration. From pristine recent finishers that have just rolled out of the garage for the first time, through to those that are just about to embark on their restoration journey, there’s sure to be something that appeals to everyone.
Event organiser Vicky Bean said:
“As a special thank you from us, we’re offering all classic car park drivers half-price entry to the show. We fully recognise that the classic cars that turn up on the day are an important part of the show, and we’re looking forward to seeing hundreds of beautiful vehicles rolling through the gates to wow the crowds!”
As always, show organisers are presenting multiple awards throughout the weekend. Awards will be handed out by official judges on both Saturday and Sunday for a wide range of categories, including a return of the prestigious Classic American Car of the Year heat, judged by magazine editor Ben Klemenzson. The chosen car will feature on the Classic American magazine stand at the NEC Classic Motor Show in November this year, admired by thousands of visitors and with a potential to be crowned the overall winner.
The show will also feature the traditional and much-anticipated displays from classic car clubs, who will be going head to head to compete for cash prizes up for grabs for the first, second and third best stand of the weekend. Members of the Yeovil Classic Car Club will be hosting the return of the popular firing-up area outside, giving visitors chance to enjoy the sounds and smells of classic car nostalgia.

For all other club members we would like to offer a discounted advanced ticket deal. Or as a club you may be interested in a car club pitch.

Now in its seventh year, WCS has built its appeal by being a fantastic car show in a garden party setting.

For the first time this year, we have added a second day – Saturday- with an emphasis on all things classic. A restoration tent will showcase car restoration from barn find to finished vehicle, and Wiltshire College will be holding workshops and demonstrations on car maintenance and repair. An arena has live entertainment all day, and the show includes a wide variety of trade stands, together with catering and hospitality opportunities. Many of the major manufacturers will be represented, alongside more niche companies. The show offers a great day out for both petrolheads and families alike.

We are running a charity motor show in Bath next month and I wondered whether any of your members would be interested in exhibiting?

I’m asking in particular as we have representation from a local charity group who will attend as characters from sci-fi and fantasy films. Apparently they have a Marty McFly and Doc Brown, so we are trying to source a DeLorean to display at the event as a good photo opportunity!

The Pageant takes place on 6/7 July at Walcot Rugby Ground, Lansdown, Bath. There will be an extensive programme of parades, exhibitions, demonstrations and super car rides, alongside competitions, live music and family activities. Fresh food, drinks and refreshments are available throughout the weekend from local suppliers and caterers, together with an indoor market and Autojumble.

I realise it’s very short notice now, but you would be very welcome to join us, either as a club stand or as individual exhibitors.
