Other Cars That You'd Love to Own
#16
Claire, I know someone with one of the Cavalier touring cars...

2009 Camaro (spec unknown as yet) - it's my next car :p
1981 DeLorean (but only if I can wedge a V8 out back)
1996 993 Turbo (silly money, and I can get a better car for less... it's a heart over head thing)
2007 Aston Martin (I don't care which one...V8? DB9? DBS? All of them)
2007 Lamborghini LP640 (why the hell not?)

Realistically? Only the top one. Sad

Pics I can probably sort.. keys? Well, since it has no engine that'd be easy as well. Apparently they didn't keep the engines in the cars as they used them in other racers/etc. Still, the chassis is going back to the track....

There was a proper ex Cleland 1995 BTCC Cav at Billing a couple of years ago, looked a bit battlescarred, but I think that just added to its provenance for me  (lol, and how much more OT can we get on this thread! )

Not exactly a car, but a couple of years ago I delivered a couple of industrial panels with computer automation gear in the back of a Van........a Mercedes Sprinter.

Great fun on the way back when it was empty, very fast van overtaking everything !
It was in Van White, I was wearing Shades 8) and I even had a copy of FHM wedged between the dashboard & windscreen.

Nice Big Grin

ps If you're going to have one, have a big one !

ah, now I can help you there mate!! I work for the largest Mercedes Commercial Dealer Group in the East Midlands - if not the whole country!

I used a new model 315CDi to move house last year, cavernous thing and went like a train.

Actually, theres a new Vito out, that is apparantly the fastest van you can buy new in the UK today...... Big Grin

Ive also been wanting a standard Renault 5 GT Turbo of late, not sure why, probably just because its a fast pocket rocket and im getting bored of my Corsa's 55bhp. But after much thought I'd rather just stick with saving... which should actually begin next month haha!
Kind Regards,

You wanna go halfs with me then ? They are truly an awsome car. Love them to bits. Only thing I hate is the 90's plastic dash and interior. But If Im doing 175 MPH Im not going to be looking at the dash much Big Grin
