#2307 Arriving soon from BHCC

It’s getting exciting now, just had the email from the shippers to complete all the following forms ahead of my project car arriving in a weeks time!

I know only then the fun will start!

Please see below documentation required in order for us to clear the vehicle through UK customs; -

  1. C384 Form - Importation of a Private Motor vehicle for a recent purchase. If this is to be imported to a VAT / EORI Registered Business, please let us know asap.

  2. Historical Vehicle Declaration – Allowing us to clear at the historical rate of V.A.T @ 5%.

  3. Declaration of Personal Import.

  4. Individual Authorisation to declare goods to Tariff Heading 9705000090

  5. Please confirm the US charges/insurance/oceanfreight. This has to be included on the customs entry.

Hi there Darrere, I'm a new member and am on the cusp of buying a US-side car for export/import to the UK.
I see there's a list of documents there which you needed to fill in on import; did the import agent provide you with paperwork to fill in on those, or did you have to find the documents?  Could you possibly provide me with links or copies of blanks?  Obviously really interested in the procedure here..!!
Cheers,
Ivan.

Sorry I have not replied. First time on the forum for a while tonight. Everything was provided by the seller BHCC followed up by the shipping agent which was kings. There is a section on the forums with advice on how to complete most of the paperwork and how to fill it in. though.
Have you taken the plunge yet? Pm me if not and I will try to support directly. Darren
