We may want to consider other insurers adverts! Most unhelpful.

Yes they do, I'm dealing with it Tris. Just to add I don't think it's very good of them, not only did they accept a valuation from me for my own car and at least three others within the last 6 weeks they also heavily advertise within the club mag. I can only 'assume' that something has gone wrong. I have been in contact with them and await a reply.

No problem, our contact at A Flux was gob-smacked at what had happened, unfortunately a new member of staff had not followed correct procedure regarding the DOC and DeLoreans.  Anyway it's sorted now, should anyone else have any similar issues (with any insurance co) please get in touch and I'm happy to deal with them.

Just to chime in:
I have used AIB insurance for the past 3 or so years on my Ferrari that I have just sold. That was on a high net worth policy with agreed valuation and pretty much every option you could ever need (except it wouldn't cover for rallies such as 'The Gumball' and also the Nurburgring LOL) any driver over 30, business use, me covered fully comp on any car I didn't own etc. I never needed to send any details of the car, but I guess it was a known quantity.
I have spoken to them about a DeLorean and they've said it would not be a problem (around £220). They are really helpful - not the cheapest mind, but they have access to many different insurers who offer a whole range of policies ranging from 'normal' insurance to insurance like I had with Hiscox.
May help someone come renewal time..

I was with Lancaster last year.

But literally just renewed with Adrian Flux and paid £160 for the year, agreed value.
With commuting limited to 3,000 miles.
