Sump pan gasket
#1
Hi all,
My sump pan gasket has been leaking oil for as long as I can remember, I think I did it from the start, from when I originally fitted it.
Does anyone know if they do an upgraded gasket?
The standard one is pretty rubbish I think.
  Thanks

100% sure it's the gasket? as they are not known for leaking. Not the oil pressure switch or crank seals? I always use a bit of 'instant gasket' along with it when I fit them, if it were me I would live with it! I have had a leaky crank seal for 3 years other than not looking pretty it's giving the chassis a good covering of oil!

I have thought it might be the crank seal,
But it seems to be combing thought the gasket all around it. It's odd.
But I want to take the sump off to check something so wondered if there was an upgrade, but I can use the sealer stuff as well.
