Micromasters De Lorean transformer car!
#1
In the late 1980s a series of toy cars based on the well known 'Transformers' type characters was released called Micromasters, all sorts of cars, trucks, planes etc. They are quite small, only about 2 inches long but transform into robots-I recently bought a set cheaply of eBay consisting of 4 cars, a Lamborghini Countach, Pontiac TransAm,Porsche Le Mans racer and a De Lorean DMC 12.
Not 100% accurate and called 'Swindler' which is probably a slur on JZD, but an interesting bit of toy history all the same, trawling eBay I found a Lotus Esprit Mk1 Transformer as well-I never knew that!
#10556 'Ol Stainless' running surprisingly well,Audi A5 2.0T Quattro smug as usual,Wenault Slaguna stationary for the mo',the R.V.Enterprise clocking the U.K.miles up,new fleet addition-Jessica the Daewoo Matiz,silly but 55mpg....!

This is the Lotus Esprit Mk1 Transformer-some say that the design for this robot is based on the De Lorean Autobot.....
