Engine number

Hi all,

This might sound like a stupid question but I'm struggling to complete the dreaded V55/5 form and have come to section 32: engine number. Where do I find this?

Look on the engine block just above/behind the cat, difficult to see but should be there!

This is a typical one.

Position near to the cat..on the engine…..very easy to see here with the Cat removed….follow the dipstick down, can't miss it.
