Angle Drive Boot?
#1
So when I was investigating the leak around my radiator, I noticed that the rubber boot around my angle drive was torn (covering the end of part 106130).

Now looking online it appears a rubber boot around this part isn't standard? Is it worth me sourcing a replacement one? And if so, does anyone have a recommendation as to where?

Thanks!

My car never had one, when I replaced the angle drive after the first 8 months of ownership I bother putting a boot on the new one either.
The only maintenance my angle drive gets is the removal of the lower cable every so often so I cab put a drop of gearbox oil into the angle drive. I've had the new one on the car just shy of 4 years and 15,000 miles use, and it's touch wood it is still going strong (angle drive is from Speedograph Richfield, it's not a DMCH "improved" unit)

What he said above for me too. No booty. Open to air. Keep clean and lubed from time to time. I think a booty would just trap moisture anyway. It so close to the road and the weather that it's almost unavoidable it being exposed to wet damp conditions.
