Thanks Luke, I went for what I thought was the best looking colour rather than being authentic and trying to factory match paint colour. I think some owners try to get the colour close to the silver of the stainless steel, but to each their own! 8)
#10556 'Ol Stainless' running surprisingly well,Audi A5 2.0T Quattro smug as usual,Wenault Slaguna stationary for the mo',the R.V.Enterprise clocking the U.K.miles up,new fleet addition-Jessica the Daewoo Matiz,silly but 55mpg....!

My rear fascia is still rover gun metal from when I first painted it years ago, no fatties have sat on the rear one so its lasted quite well lol. I agree it's a good colour choice and readilly available off the shelf.

I must admit, I went for the Alfa Romeo 651A as kindly advised by Mike Ward. It looks brilliant, and the key to this is to use a matte finish plastic primer, otherwise it can look a bit tacky, I agree. It's the super glossy finish that I'm not a fan of.

lol Big Grin I still have no idea what goes through peoples minds.

"Can I sit in the car please?" "No, if you go in, I've got queues of people, sorry".

"Can't I just sit on the bonnet then??" *facepalm*

I let them sit on the sill….it makes a better photo anyway……I have something chunky placed on the seat…that stops em.

Great idea. Might have to use that one in the future (I didn't mean to say that, honest..)

Errr, because most of us cant afford to replace anything that 'may' get broken because of it, plus wear and tear. (Before any one comments I'm not having a go at the hire trade) yourself and others charge (not all the time I know) for use of the vehicles therefore you factor in wear and tear and replacement parts. 99.9% of people would respect the vehicle but there is always the odd one who wont, I remember a recent comment from Luke and Brian I think about people trying to steal parts from the BTTF cars for example.

After my BTTF car had done a year or so's occasional work, the seats were well worn! I had to replace them before I sold it and it had still only done about 1300 miles from new then.

Yup, I'll just stick to enjoying it myself thanks. I let the occasional fan in when there's only one or two around but otherwise, not happening. Of course, and D owner can jump right in, they know the score from owning one.
