The Delorean Pog's
#1
Forgive me if this is a repost, I did a quick search and nothing appeared...

I was informed of the following website http://www.deloreanpogs.com/.

Its a webpage that is able to provide the details of the work carried out on the cars that went to the Quality Assurance Centres in America. All work was carried out by the Delorean Pogs (they looked like pigs but worked like dogs),
Ensuring that the cars all met the required standards before they went to the dealerships.

Very interesting website, that may provide the answer to why certain things are the way they are with your car.

Very interesting, never seen much information about these centres before.

They had a reputation in Dunmurry of, " taking the wheels off ..... to make sure the nuts were tight" !

Classic Irish humour that. Ridiculously defending due to the dislike for criticism. Big Grin

I looked up my VIN, but alas no details. Sad

What a great internet find !

The website link has the parts used in only on QAC, and regretably not the one mine went through. However if you browse through the list of parts used seemingly they were putting parts onto low VINs in 1982 (522, 730 etc).. that would have confused observant people suddenly seeing gas flaps reappear ?
