BAKNTIM For Sale.
#1
My DeLorean is up for sale people. It's a very sad time for me. Maybe one day in the future I will own one again.
Problem is, in another 20 years they'll be worth bazillions and I'll not be able to afford one! Sigh.
But needs must I'm afraid, and my family must come first.

I've put a page on the club website with the basics on it.
If anyone wants more info or a chat, give me a call on 0779 233 1885 from 6pm to 8 pm any night.
A quick run down on the specs:

Chasis Number 002 !
Vin#0981 very early car. 481st Production car.
Black leather interior.
Automatic Transmission.
Drivers door edge signed by Claudia Wells.
Full stainless exhaust.
Alpine head unit, speakers, amp and kicker sub.
Complete LED rear clusters.
LED gull wing lights.
6 months MOT and TAX.
Grooves and Gasflap design.

I'll get more pictures and info put up once I have a bit more time.

Sorry to hear that Paul, I know you've come close before. this is a beaut of a car, as you well know, it will make its new owner very proud I'm sure. What a shame. No way you can be talked out of it this time?!

Not this time unfortunately.
If I could sell a kidney to keep the car... I'd do it.

Many happy memories this car has brought. Smile

I know it's not a decision you'll have taken lightly Paul, sorry to hear it has to go. Not sure I'd sell a kidney to keep mine, though, it's already had plenty of my knuckles and finger ends over the years!

sad times Paul, but I know from our chats you've been left with no choice.

Hope she finds a deserving new home, and you're back behind the wheel of a
DMC again soon - remember, if you buy a 'fixer upper', there's enough of us
around this area to chip in and help you out Smile

Thanks Claire. It's been one hell of a ride.
I'm lost for words really. I never thought this day would come.

She's already sparking quite a few offers and the impending sale draws closer.

Stay tuned.

Thank you Claire. It's nice to know I have such good friends. Albeit we don't get to see you all that much these days.
I only hope I can return all the favours I've had from you all over the years.

The warmer days are coming back already, and I know getting rid of the DeLorean is going to be really tough.
I'll miss that cooked leather smell and spending 3 hours at the petrol station answering questions.

Big Grin That sounds a bit anti-social of you Claire. lol

I've spent most of today cleaning the DeLorean. I'm gutted that this could be the last time I get to clean it.

Some pictures will be going up soon.
