Hi all. im having problems with my alternator. got an aftermaeket one from my motor factor, cant remember the part number? but cant get it to charge, wherever i put the brown and yellow wire, the dash light wont go off! which aftermarket alt has everyone fitted on their D? or does anyone know how to get mine charging? really need help. its all i need to do to get it on the road. 1st time in 20 years!!

Have you tried Dave Howarth (contact details in mag) Special't alternators seem popular but would probably prove more expensive than Martin's when your factor in P&P Etc
