Nithing for it but to get in there, unfortunately. I dropped a screw in there when reassembling the door liner on one occasion and it drove me potty for a year before I eventually had to open it up again. It's difficult not to drop the screws in when reassambling - especially the two upwards-facing ones that secure the top of the grab-handle , which are accessed when you get the black infill panel out. Good luck, and be careful with the trim clips etc.

Its much easier if you wind the window right down to get under the lip of the uppermost trim to start it off.

Sorted, I took the drivers door panels off and discovered that the window motor had shaken it's
Bracket loose. So I tightened it up and it no longer rattles

Yipeeeeee

But in a bizarre twist of fate as I'm fiddling around I noticed that
A little fir tree on my door headliner was broken
So I took the headliner off and the drivers window fell out!!!

It appears that a poor job had verb done by the previous owner
And the only thing keeping the window in was the headliner

A few hours of cleaning and new bonding agent, and it's back to normal

What a mess...

I'm sorry, but I laughed at that. Only on a DeLorean, eh? lol.
