DVLA says that it was first registered in march 08, so it sounds like a recent import. ChrisP's memory may not help him in that case.

yes....it was mine!!. personally imported from Long Island

the new owner ran a boatyard down south so fits in.

when i sold here, 14k on the clock, black manual vin 1621 gas flap hood, tons of new parts, fully refurbed wheels (and i mean shot blasted, powder coated, then wet sprayed and laquered all to get oem colour!), new tyres/dics/pads all round.rebuilt brake hydraulics
new leather on seats by Chris N's chap (who did pilots!), new headliner.
body had no dents and was regrained by Chris, new windscreen grill, fully refurbed bumpers/louvres/side vents etc, new screen/new light buckets/bonnet hinges/very good frame./new fuel system/new tank, pump,specialTauto feed kit, new door handles

all in all a damn good car and well sorted, Chris N knows it well!

sold due to economic climate!, after 4 years of work.

is there an ad somewhere?

found it....google essex boat yards!.

price is very optimistic!, and info...car was off road from 92-2004, and i think was stored outside as there were tons of pine needles where the sun doesnt shine!.
Ask Chris N....how did they get UNDER the ashtray and cuby box!?
mouse nest behind front grill, and rear of seat box!
Ended up after mine and Chris's work a very good car, and well sorted and took many 100's of hours! (normally under it with a dremell at 3 in the morning!.
