It wasn't so much a mag as a newsletter at that time really, as the club was in its infancy back then.

I seem to remember that the Club had uploaded a copy of the first newsletter to the "Members Only" section of the main club website.

Tris, is this still available :?:

Ah, gotcha. Well, it kinda transformed from the newsletter into a magazine gradually over a period of time as the membership grew and as DeLorean activity grew in the UK.

I'll have a look through my back issues this weekend, but if I remember correctly the first real breakthrough for the magazine format came in the January 1999 edition, as this was professionally printed and marked a real move forward in terms of quality and layout. I think this was one of the last issues that Simon Lees-Milne published as Editor.

In about 2000 / 2001, Andy Withers (along with Dave Howarth) was then largely responsible for setting up the excellent relationship with a specialist printing firm who we still use to this day Big Grin

I would guess, looking at the item location and that the seller is called Stephen (see his 'me' section), that the seller is Stephen Knight, ex owner of 'DEL31L' which now lives near Uttoxeter.

The current bidder is located in the USA - Bozzy, why dont you contact him and see if you can sign him up? Big Grin
