Does anyone know where I can get hold of both the left and right handbrake cables in the UK quickly? does anybody stock them? Any help much appreciated.

Not trying to teach you how to suck eggs but are you sure you need them / both ?

You can try Dave Howarth, he had lots and lots tho last time I spoke to him about them he did not have that many left. As Mike said there is quite a bit of adjustment on the cable / handbrake lever or has the bolt snapped :o

Yeah, I thought I would have to look at replacing my handbrake cables, but it just turned out that the metal ends of the wires had come off the bottom of the handle mechanism...
Now both of my handbrake calipers pull. :lol:

What he said.
Never had to replace a pair of cables due to breakage, they jus tpop out of the yoik on the lever. And once one goes, the other doesn't work.

Hi, not sure if I need both its just what the garage have said. I'm a little hands off with the work at the moment till its through the MOT so I can get it home. I dont think either of them has snapped, but instead the are just all rusted up stopping proper operation. The car is an auto and I know the handbrake hasn't been used in the last 10 years if ever!!! I ordered them off delorean.com last night, thanks everyone for your help |
