I am in the process of changing the security on the forum for the next admin to easily implement different group access etc to minimise effort.

I am beta testing it at the moment and normal functionality shouldn't be compromised.

Well spotted.

Thanks for your continuing efforts as ever Nick.

Just a point on this 'edit 'function I know from other Forums you get say a hour or so to edit your last message but from then on they are locked to keep the record 'true'

Perhaps this is a 'useful' function ??

No worries.

The forum has web based MySQL Backup facility so I can backup the complete database almost daily using a standard web browser.

In the 1 case where the database screwed up, I backed it up that morning and restored it that afternoon. Luckily no one noticed or posted ! I was working on site at the time too.

I will help the next person for a couple of weeks to show him/ her the ropes.

Any updates on the EDIT function. I have noticed it is available in some areas of the forum and not others, depending on where I have posted?

Following on from my message above I cannot 'edit' or 'delete' my post(s) in the 'For Sale' section.

Can you please add the 'edit' function as per other sections of the website?

Cheers
