Sound advice Chris...ive done a couple in a similar manner. If I remember correctly, I ended up with slightly larger diameter bolt/stud.

Your choice about the water pump of course. Its been my experience that once you start using the car regularly the water pumps can and will fail. Its so easy to get at now and for the sake of say £12...

Grey interior ...sun damaged. Flat bonnets are quite common, as they ran out of groved ones fairly early on. A lot of work needed to get it up to a smart standard.

While you are in there I would strongly recommend having the water pump refurbished, ( Dave Howarth) new hoses, clips etc and fit a self bleeding kit.

Personally I wouldn't touch a 'Turbo" car......the best way to wreck a Delorean is to stick a turbo on it. Ive still got "frenchys" old engine in my garage .....if anyone wants it?

Well there is no block Rot on my spare delorean engine......it didn't have water in it long enough! Neither has it con-rod hanging out of its side. My guess is just a burnt out valve or similar.
