Fuel filler - Chris Hawes - 14 Oct 2006

Is there any modification that will allow a fuel filler nossle to be placed in the DeLorean filler neck and allow the full flow of fuel from start to finish to stop spurts and the mess made if you are not super gentle to start and end with?

Not that i know of.

But I particularly like if when you put the nozzle over the bonnet and the fuel that is in the end of the it all pees out all over it and leaves a nice clean streak.......

That is why I have to be careful, I have the flapless bonnet and petrol in carpet gives off a prolonged whiff...

Makes me wonder if the pump nozzle has changed since the eighties, allowing so much 'dead' fuel in the spout.

maybe the output has got faster, but I think the narrow twisted neck to the tank is the problem, the fuel just cannot get down into it fast enough...
