If it works without having to hack the original wiring loom then what's the problem??

without looking at my diagram, I think the problem is the white socket has no power supply.

It does work but there's no dimming option, I get the impression Chris wanted dimming as well as a longer delay...

Yes, no power feed to the white socket....

Like Martin says, if you want a plug and play solution, dimming can't be done....

You're right I would really like to have a delay and slow fading to off. What is the concern with carefully modifying, sorry BODGING the original loom to make this happen?

Nothing really.

It's just I've never been keen on 'drop in' fixes which actually need wiring mods.

I'll see what I can come up with Smile
