Really Retro Show, Staffs, 7 July 2024 - Guinney1971 - 16 Apr 2024
Hi all,
Can people let me know if you'd like a spot on the Club Stand at the Really Retro Show near Stafford this year?
The organisers have given us a least 6 spaces, but I need to get back to them asap with names and reg numbers
so that I can book you in and pay for the tickets.
I'll lay on snacks, beverages, and the gazebo as usual, all you need to bring is your car and yourselves.
I've also mentioned this on the Club WhatsApp group and it'll be on the Facebook page & other socials, so hopefully
between them, we can get to as many members as possible to gauge interest.
Ideally I need to know by the end of April, but Mid May will have to be the cut-off for people wanting to come.

due to a lack of interest from Club members, we will not be having a stand at Really Retro this year.
If anyone does want to go, they need to contact the organisers directly to book a space in the general display area.
Many thanks to those who did get in touch to express an interest in going, however we did not get enough numbers
to get us a Club Stand.

Sorry Claire, I thought I'd replied to this thread. My car is broken right now. I'll be lucky to get the car to the DOC event in September right now. Up to then I have far too much on as it is (nothing car fun related, unless you count fixing my Type R and fixing the D' as "fun"). House roof replacement stuff, family stuff, etc.
I'll be struggling to piecemeal my way through looking at LEX in time for the DOC event as it is.
I think we'll probably still be going to the DOC event, but we might not be in the D', that's all. If I can't get LEX fixed for that, then pressure is off until next year (except for the need to syphon fuel out of the tank if it's not going to get used by the D' herself!)
