I'm trying to get the underseal off my wife's beetle under the wings it's flaking, does anyone have anyone have any tips to get it off, I have tried petrol, gunk and white spirits but all with limited success. Many thanks Stephen.

You could try a hot air gun or blow torch, but whatever you do it's a horrible job that takes time and a lot of effort
