Personally i think its overpriced. I bought my car from them cheaper and its in better shape. I think their pricing here is set around the low mileage.

Still, you might be able to barter them down quite a bit.

Chassis Frame looks good, the mileage could be correct. But it never fails to amaze me just how much damage the heat, sun and standing, can do. Sad

I understand the two cars at the recent UK auctions in the went for bargain money.....worries over Brexit perhaps? Undecided

I quite like the look of this one....and at least it has new tyres. Such a pity it was left out of the sun.

I've got a shed in Mapleton you can hide it in... in exchange for the pleated hood off of it!

It looks a smashing car, it makes a change to see one with an undamaged original interior....

..what a difference dry, covered storage makes!.......I know someone that paid that sort of money for a rusty wreck!...Mind you its scrubbing up OK.[attachment=541]

Have any of you noticed the ends of the anti-roll bar (or sway bar for people from the colonies) have they been re-shaped to make them fit better in the bottom wishbones? Mine are not like that...might be a USA thing??

RE: Project Cars @ BHCC - Chris Williams - 13 Apr 2019

How you getting on with the Princess calipers from EBay? did they work out ok?

RE: Project Cars @ BHCC - Chris P - 13 Apr 2019

I'll let you know when I get my two restored brake servo's fitted..

I thought it was worth trying them as they were, but once I'd tried to bleed the brakes, I realised I was getting nowhere...apart from removing some very horrible black filthy old brake fluid, that  was pushed out!

The twin servo set-up is only fitted on a few of the RHD's. Talking to an expert brake man, near Manchester, it seems this set up was also used on many of the 'Exotic cars" to the 70's an 80's including Ferrari's, Aston Martins, Maserati's etc. etc.

Whilst I'm at it, I'm getting the master cylinder restored, that will be the whole system completely gone through!.....then I can bleed them.......then I can tell you Chris.

I also had some spare old servo's in stock, so did a deal with them. Incidentally looking around eBay, one chap wanted £455 each to restore them, I ended up, going direct to the chap who does the work.....and got them done for less than half  of that.
