Struts/TorsionBars - dmcscott2002 - 08 Apr 2007

I just changed my struts in the hope that my passenger side door would open all the way on its own. No luck Sad Really starting to stress me out! I think I ve OD'd on DMC work this week! hehe

Im guessing Torison bar problem?

Yep i reckon thats the problem, but if you adjust watch the rear screen as they are quite pricey TT

With new struts, then yes it will be your torsion bar that needs slight adjustment.

Scott, Adjusting torsion bars is recommended with 2 people, the right tools and experience of having done it before otherwise all kinds of things can go wrong.

I'll probably have to wait to arrange to meet with someone to help with that in the summer.

So annoying though cause the drivers door works so well and has the slowing thing as in comes to the end of its travel Big Grin smooooth haha
