Wow... They look far superior! The previous ones look like regular motor factor cable/pipe clamps, but with a bit of colored sheath slid over them... Pence to produce, I guess you are paying for the colour.

Good find!

My interior prop collection is now coming on. One thing I am having problems with is the interior hose. (The black/orange stripped hose) that runs at the side of the Clare box to the front of the car. Although I have found a similar colour it doesn't look quite right. Can any one point me in the right direction of the correct coloured pipe?

Cheers! Took a while, a company in the US had a load spare but had to make phone calls and be polite, emails don't work

Thanks do you happen to have a link for the site where the cat hose it is sold?

I would hope modern lighting technology could improve on the neon tubes, they're fragile and on close inspection obviously a separate lighting effect (as opposed to corona discharge on the bands themselves, if they were real field emitters). Matted EL wire or panel might be able to do it if overdriven to 1000 Hz or so, the brightness has improved a lot over the last decade. LEDs definitely get the brightness but the trick is diffusing enough to avoid the fairy lights look. Well designed LED tubes should at least improve the durability and power consumption. A dense grid of tiny surface-mount LEDs on the back side of the flux band metal should be even better; the light would be diffused by the reflection off the grained stainless panel. Would be incredibly time consuming to assemble though.

Ok but that's an LED tube then, not a neon tube.

These will go very nicely in my collection. Lucking forward to the warmer weather to start the interior conversion. (No holes drilled version Big Grin ) just need some red paint for this prop!

That's awesome mate! Those clocks are hard to come by now! Is the tank plastic? If so, I'll prep and prime it for you if you need?

Thanks Luke, that would be great.

How ever it's made of metal, I could do with your help putting it all together at some point Big Grin just got a load of the interior cat hose from USA. Postage cost more than the hose itself. Sad

No worries. I'll pop up at some point when you can be bothered. Aye, you'll find the same with most parts needed for the conversion. When, cough, I mean...IF you decide to add p clips for your external wires, my Bosch is charged up and I can get you the purple clips too

Wow that's what I call expensive hose. Just bought 10ft of cat hose for the interior of delorean. $90 including postage and then get taxed £25. I don't know how that worked out but ended up paying £70 approx for a bit of hose that turned out to be good quality but too thick (incorrect) Sad Who said an interior time machine conversion would be cheap?

Definitely not me! By far the most expensive, but most rewarding part.

The exterior hose is around £100 for 10metre too! Let mW know when you get to this and I'll show you where I got it Mike.

Thanks Luke. I'm sure it will look great in the car but just wished I had bought a smaller tube as this one is slightly bigger than what it should be.
