Binnacle any condition - dmcnewbie - 20 Aug 2013

Hi to everyone,
This is my first post and i am already asking for something!!!
I would like to buy a binnacle, it does not need to be in A1 condition
i will consider anything, so if you have a old binnacle that is collecting
dust but you could not bring your self to throw it away i am willing
to pay good money for it. I would stress that i will consider absolutely
any condition. I know that these are extremley hard to come by but
someone must have one !!!

Ed Uding at DMC Europe has numerous binnacles in various states of repair. If you give him a call he might do you a deal on a used one.

Also try Chris Nicholson at P J Grady. He does have a stock of used items (especially trim pieces). He may just have one.

Just out of interest, is it grey or black you're after?

I understand Black are easier to get hold of... (But that was a good few years ago, they're probably equally hard to get hold of now!)

Re: Binnacle any condition - dmcnewbie - 21 Aug 2013

Any colour will do. As more than likely it will have to be re-worked and covered or painted anyway.
Just sent emails to the people mentioned above. I hope they have something! Fingers crossed!

Re: Binnacle any condition - dmcnewbie - 23 Aug 2013

Chris Nicholson at P J Grady has replied to my mail and he says he has not got anything at the
moment, but he is hoping to have some made, one version will be painted, the other will be
covered. Anybody else have any leads i can chase up :!:

possibly Keith McCracken in Ireland - you'll find him on the DOI forum possibly, but he's also
on Facebook.

He's got a very strong Irish accent, so be prepared to book a translator !! lol
