hi all,
its that time of year again, and I'm just trying to sort something out for our annual
Xmas get together in the Midlands.
I've just contacted this place http://www.the50samericandiner.bravehost.com/ to see
what availability they have - would people be interested in going here for a bit of lunch and
a natter if they can accomodate us?
Obviously this isnt just restricted to Midlands members, everyone is welcome, and the more
the merrier!
Feedback/suggestions welcome!

What sort of date are you suggesting?
I'm off to Indonesia tomorrow (Monday 21st) but should be getting back to Rugby on the 30th.....he says with all confidence! lol!
I'm leaving to head up to Scotland on the 16th or the 17th (Friday/Sat - December) for my Xmas break with family and friends, but in between these dates, "I'm Free!"

ok, I've been in touch with the Diner, and they can accomodate us on
Saturday 10th December, so shall we meet there for a late lunch, say
around 2pm, to give folks travelling a long way like Ben plenty of time to
get there?

I can be certain that i wont be taking the de as its not taxed. Just claimed a refund on it after my wedding job as i hadnt anticipated using it. Gutted now cos i might have brought it to this one!
Can you put my g/f Leanne down as well Claire?
Its her birthday on that day (sods law) so it will kill 2 birds with one stone xxxxx

great stuff Ben, thats no problem - but if you both want to stop the
night it'll be an airbed in the lounge, as we've only got a single bed
in the spare room.

Are you bringing DeLoreans?
Claire is trying to get me to bring mine although it goes against my grain bringing it long distance in December.
Think the last time our cars met was at Raf cosford in Feb 2008....
We'll see anyway..... ;-)

just a quick update, the diner have been in touch this morning and our
booking for 2pm on the 10th December is all confirmed, I just need to
give them final numbers a few days beforehand.
