Does anyone know at what rate you would theoretically loose coolant, I have no visible leaks at all but every month or so my coolant looks a little low. Normal? Or small leak?

Seems normal, they seem to stay around the level of the oulet, if you fill 'em any higher it sems to spit it out until its back to that level again.
