Hey all,
I've noticed a few members running US style plates on their D's, just wondered how many people have been pulled over for having them?

There is by all accounts a little known legislation that allows you to use 'non standard' plates if the vehicle was not intended to use UK spec ones, I cant remember the exact details but 'maddie's owner would be able to clairfy more on this one. I'm not aware of any one who has been pulled over for this, generally the problem is a lot run without front plates at all!

The legislation states that if the standard UK size plate can't be fitted then a square or rectangular plate that fits the recess can be used as long as it uses the UK font, as for running no front plates its ok till you get stopped by ANPR lol i know technically US plates aren't legal but i just wanted to know if anyones had trouble with them lol
