Retro look car audio - Nick H - 19 Jul 2009

Picked up a copy of this months Practical Classics. Has a gear guide that featured a retro looking car radio that looks ideal for the D.
Thought this might be of interest to anyone looking to upgrade their stereo with out cutting the dash
to fit a standard DIN unit (as someone had done to my car) or buying the replacement dash panel.

The all black unit would look rather good, just retro enough.

good idea.

if i really did change the craig then i would go for this.

or if i purchased (would love to) an MK2 RS2000 or a fiesta supersport.

if the original was missing.

 Copy them to MP3. I did that with my Iron Eagle Soundtrack cassette.....maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that  ......
I have a Iaudio X5 MP3 player that allows direct line in recording.
So you just plug it in to a audio source such as record deck or cassette player and record it direct to MP3, job done.
