OT - our Coupe on the Bay of E - Guinney1971 - 02 Jan 2009

Decided to put the Astra Coupe back on ebay -

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0277703717

Reserve price is less then the BIN - please let me know if you/anyone you know is interested
in the car and we'll try and do a deal on it.

Would like it to go to a good home please, and not be chavved to within an inch of its life.

Cheers

well, I'm not counting the 'egg layers' just yet, but we've got someone coming round
on Sunday with a pocket full of cash and a girlfriend who's been drooling over 'Bertie'
on Ebay all week

Finger's crossed!! Big Grin

Good luck Claire. If its anything like when I've sold cars, the buyers will spot the Delorean and be more interested in that than what they've come to buy

yep, thats right Nick - much as we'd like to blow it on having a good time, we have to
get priorities right Sad

I haven't even had a go driving it yet, she won't let me have the keys !

Priorities are boring but necessary. I don't have the time to look after more than 3 cars and my D is always last priority.
It should change this year Big Grin

Sad to see the Corsa go though. Just before Christmas it flashed the engine management light. I got 5 fault codes. Took me 4 days to figure it out (still working earning a living). The EGR valve feedback circuit went partial short and it started sticking too. It dragged down a shared 5v to 2.5v. The computer thought those sensors on the shared 5v had gone as well. Took me 4 hours to change the thing as it was under the inlet manifold. All codes went after that and it ran superb but after driving it for a couple of weeks figured out the car was just too small (or is it me too big ??) so got a bigger car.

Ive just been given a new Astra for work. Still trying to get used to the switches being electronic, ie the wipers are on with the stork in the normal position and the same with the indicators. Seems a good car though, 6 speed too.

Yes Claire it is the Pug that runs on oil, I forgot to mention that in the advert, I'll add it now
