Sorry to hear about this story Cry

In the future, get lots of CCTVs that covers every corner of your property and it should help with avoiding these stupid cases with stupid laws (at times). You never know when this stupid bitch will come back to you.

I agree, the good ol' "give 'em a taste of their own medicane" trick!

I think the lesson is get gates on your driveway, then they would be breaking in if they done that and they would get in trouble, not you Big Grin

- Rich H - 29 May 2008

Yes, absolutely. Park one of your cars in their driveway and block them in.

Better yet, go and buy a dead cheap banger and spray it up some God awful luminous orange, green and pink.

Then put a clamp on one of the wheels so there's no way they can shift it

Just a thought - didn't she say she'd parked it there because of all the dsitress it was causing her? In which case, she had effectively said it was her that parked it. There might be something in her original statement that you can use to get her with if she's said under ath that she did it.

Hi Rich,

Can't discuss the details of the case right now. But I'll let you know how I get on.

I've got a few things to say in court

Hi All,

Today was a victory for the common man. Big Grin Big Grin

The Judge awarded in my favour. She was found Guilty of Trespass and the resultant damage.

I have been awarded a proportion of my claim and a refund of legal fees.

She has 14 days to pay, so I'm not out of the woods yet! :?

Hopefully she will see sense and I'll have extra beer money at Eurotec 8)

Best Regards
D

Darren, i had the same problem except it was just a lazy selfish arse that parked his beamer in my drive, blocking my garage. We phoned the police and persuaded them to remove it, big truck towed it on, handbrake on and all, and it was impounded.
That was in Aberdeen and so our scottish law may vary. In any case, you made a real effort to get to the wedding and i hope they appreciated it!
