oh 'eck....... :o( - Guinney1971 - 05 Dec 2007

well, some of you may remember, that I was in a car accident in January
this year when someone smacked (twice) into the back of my beloved
old Cavalier 'Guinney'.

I'm still suffering pain and restricted movement, and today I had a follow
up with the consultant at Barnsley Hospital.

Not good.

I've got to go into hospital in January for surgery to my right shoulder,
which they have said will involve drilling into it Shock

Obviously, I'm quite worried about this, but needs must, and if it manages
to cure my symptoms, then all well and good.

I guess that will put paid to enjoying, restoring and driving my cars
for the early part of next year tho Cry Sad Cry Sad

Thats so harsh. Very sympathetic there!

That sounds painful, i'm glad its not me having that done. Drilling into bone just makes me cringe Shock

- Dan6457 - 06 Dec 2007

- Guinney1971 - 06 Dec 2007

hey, thats great news Dan Big Grin well done mate!! Smile

- NickT - 06 Dec 2007

Excellent news Dan Big Grin

Claire, I wonder if they will be putting some stainless bolts or joints in your shoulder?

I did a disaster recovery on the furnace control SCADA system at Sandvik in Sheffield last month where they make stainless replacement joints. Hope you don't need one of these !

Hope every thing goes well for you. and if it is the same person that fixed your knee, you will be fine.

I second all these comments! If you blow the tyres up on Flopsy to 60 PSI, you should feel like you have got power steering!

Keep us all informed.......
