Odd looking D on ebay austria - davidhamblyn - 01 Dec 2007

Had to post this on my almighty trek through ebays of europe! This is in Austria from the Germany ebay site. The colour scheme looks quite odd in my opinion, with the black front and back ends and no side stripe! Also a rather big price!

Gotta love this:

That has to be the best listing for a D I have ever seen on ebay! Leaves near to no questions to be asked! Apart from why its Red! Maybe the stainless needs the attention of Chris @ PJ's! I looked on the Vin PDF and this car isn't listed, so it does make you wonder if the bodywork is shattered!

probably is jonny TT

Remember not all De Loreans are painted because of stainless damage..

I know of at least 3 that were painted in Dundonald in NI circa 1982 with pristine stainless, I used to own one and now its stainless again..., and had no damage.

But he is asking a little too much there, there has been some renewed interest since the announcement of the 'new' De Loreans, I would say he is possibly trying to capitalise on this by setting a (in my opinion) too high a price.

Notice the gear knob has the Renault logo on? Wasn't this significant in the history of the cars? :?:

If I were selling my car I would write a little more about it and also know that it couldn't be a 1980 model. He either can't be bothered to get it right which speaks volumes or it's another scammer!

Seems strange the catagory its been listed under too. That will be withdrawn immediately if it's reported. But it may just be a quick listing that will be added to as and when the owner feels like it......

Time will tell. and would also double as a hearse if it was stretched a bit ........
