front calipers - Tourettes Tony - 19 Oct 2007

i have decided to change my front calipers due to the left one pulling to one side, it showed up in the mot last year so i know its not anything to do with set up. They were a new set 2 years ago but for some reason they look odd visually. I know they are off a cortina, but are they off a capri as well and are they type 16 thanks all tony TT

I have got my front end in bits at the mo, I will have a look to see if there are any part numbers on the calipers. Although I only changed them 18 months ago so I should still have the invoice from the local motor factors. From memory they were about £35.00 a piece x change. I will let you know tom.

Tony, there are no distinguishing numbers on the calipers, but I do have the old invoice from; Ultimate motor spares (01763244222) that list's them as part number; XC80284 & XC80285 at £29.00 each plus VAT. I do rember Mark B telling me that they were definatly Mk3 Cortina ones though. Hope this helps.
