- Guinney1971 - 04 Jan 2008 hana 5284 Wrote:hay claire hows the car coming on is it finished yet????I had an email from Chris yesterday, she'll be ready this month - which is not big hassle, as I told them to take their time with her and fit her in around other jobs - Chris informs me that he's done some of his best work yet on her too! Cant wait to see her now - getting quite excited!
- Dan6457 - 04 Jan 2008 I will see her this afternoon when I go to pick up DGS
- Guinney1971 - 04 Jan 2008 cool! (dont post any pics on here tho!! ) I'm confident that Chris and Darren have done a fantastic job on Flopsy, it will just be so weird seeing her all pristine rather then looking like a shed! Enjoy your new car!
- PJ Grady (Europe) - 04 Jan 2008 I shouldn't worry - she's still in bits anyway! When Chris said he was doing "some of his best work..." what he really meant was he was "doing his best to work with..."! The body panels are being repaired off the car, so not much to see right now until it's all assembled. Darren - bozzzydmc - 04 Jan 2008 Narh his best work was patching up my front wing to remove the ariel on there ![]() Im still impressed with that now ! Hopefully this next year we will have more nice weather to drive them in ! - bozzzydmc - 04 Jan 2008 Claire Usher Wrote:it will just be so weird seeing her all pristine rather then looking like a shed! A shed ??.. poor Flopsy.. I dont remember her looking anything like this.... ![]()
- Guinney1971 - 04 Jan 2008 hahahahahahaha PMSL      Cheers Darren, dont worry, I'm not rushing you ![]() I know when Chris appraised the car in 2006 he was abit concerned about the damage to the 'A pillar' of the driver's door, so I know that he's got a lot of work to do - every other panel on the car was damaged, and the accident last year kinda gave me a full set of dented panels! lol Just as long as all the scotchlocks are removed....... Hey, do I get a certifcate of scotchlocklessness (is that a word? lol ) ITS FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- PJ Grady (Europe) - 04 Jan 2008 There is a small pile of scotchlocks waiting for you - there may be a few more hidden away under the centre console or in the foglight conversion - I haven't looked! Car is pretty good actually - it just wanted a good cosmetic overhaul. So what's next after the bodywork?! Darren - Dodgy Motor - 04 Jan 2008 Thats really cruel Mike,,you know it looks more like this
- bozzzydmc - 04 Jan 2008 LOL ![]() Very good plus there is only so much I can do at work with microsoft paint ![]() Oh just a bit disapointed with the wheels
- Tourettes Tony - 04 Jan 2008 Claire Usher Wrote:I had an email from Chris yesterday, she'll be ready this month -hana 5284 Wrote:hay claire hows the car coming on is it finished yet???? let me know when your down claire and i will pop over luv TT
- Guinney1971 - 05 Jan 2008 hahaha, you guys crack me up     Actually, Darren, there probably are scotchlocky horrors under the centre console and beind the dashboard ![]() Basically, when we get her home, I'll fit the venturi that Darren Bowker gave me and then tune it up the way NickT has told me to do it (ie the same as RichH's car), and then *hopefully* the car will finally run better. Fitting Dan's old exhaust definately helped matters, but NickT's diagnostic equipment clearly showed at Eurotec last year that the venturi is the cause of the seemingly endless running problems with the car. Fingers x'd!! NP Tourettes, I'll let you know when we're coming down (will probably borrow the flatbed from work as Flopsy is SORN now) and you can get the kettle on
