Hi all
i've been trying to contact uroglas and i think they may have gone.
website is dead.
bit of a mess really. i ordered my screen and had it delivered to a fitters in Tamworth.
(about a year ago) expecting them to do a mobile fit.
They then said they wanted the car in the workshop, but as i was working on it i asked them to store it for me which they said OK.
so now their number seems dead, the original supplier gone!.
i'm £250 out of pocket and no screen.
is anybody else remanufacturing these?.

Just wondering really. There was a guy on Radio 1 earlier who said he had an MR2 and hes not gonna be able to afford to run it due to the hefty road tax... personally I think thats rubbish about him not being able to run it but I was just wondering whether all you owners out there will have to pay this VERY steep increase in road tax? I.e. is the DeLorean in the affected category(s)?

Do basic checks first:
presence of bleed kit
bleed the cooling system
otterstat switch functionality
cooling fan operation
thermostat opening
then do a cooling system pressure test
then get is sniff tested (where cooling system gas is drawn up a blue chemical.
this tests for the presence of carbon monoxide (CO)
if this proves bad news then ask RichH as he has changed his head gasket. Parts should be standard B28E engine but I would compare the removed one at the parts counter.
NickT.
