I've not booked anything yet, but do we have any preferences for
location for this years Xmas meet up?
I try and keep it near to a major road or motorway to make access
as easy as possible, but I'm open to suggestions.
Also, we call it the 'East Midlands meet', but literally everyone is welcome
if they fancy a drive out. DeLorean is optional, this is always more of a
social event then a car meet.
Ideally we need to formulate something in the next week-ten days so
that we can be in with a chance of booking somewhere.
personally I liked the carvery on the A38...

I've found a potential venue in Sawley, near J24A of the M1 on the Notts/Derbys/Leics border.
I'm liaising with Rich Hanlon over this at the moment, but if members can let me know what dates
suit them - I'm thinking specifically of Rissy as he often heads up to Scotland at Christmas - so if
people can let me know what weekends (and we generally meet up on a Saturday) suit, then I can
look at booking an area for us.

okay Rich, that's good to know, I remember you saying that it was your good lady's birthday
in December and you'd have to work around that.
2nd and 16th are perfect for me as im already off but if 9th is the favourite then i can book it off and come
from chatting to several people, it seems the 2nd of December is the best date for most, so I'll
ring the venue now and see if they have availability.
