I recently found a copy of Motor magazine from October 81 and it had a piece about the DeLorean at the Motorfair in the Earls Court, London. It got me thinking about what happened to this car. I know VIN 5930 (MJI 1981) was displayed in the Geneva Motor Show and there is a strong possibility that the same car was shown in London and also another show in the Kings hall Belfast (Ulster motor show)

It is a Grey Interior, Auto Transmission

Possibly this car,

Last I heard, VIN#05930 was in Hungary ...
I can't help but notice the sun visors in the second picture.  Folded back with the felt showing in the stowed position.

The correct way.

Just.  Like.  Mine.  Big Grin  Cool  Blush  Wink
Seems a reasonable assumption that they had a "show car" that went from show-to-show.

And as Andy says, MJI was sold to Hungary in 2011
Just checked and the Ulster Motor show was on 16th to 21st February 1981
and the Geneva Motor show was on 5th to 15th of March 1981

Both too early for VIN 5930 but the October built car was right on time for the London Motorfair...

Just surfaced on YouTube from Thames TV
Excellent find!
I enjoyed that.
